Students from our Construction Management class at Weber Innovation had the incredible opportunity to visit The Other Side Village. The Other Side Village is a supportive community that provides housing, stability, and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness. Through various programs, residents are empowered to overcome challenges and rebuild their lives.
Our Construction Management students have played a meaningful role in this initiative by building several of the tiny homes as part of their semester projects. In fact, our school district helped construct one of the very first homes for The Other Side Village.
During the visit, students were able to tour homes they helped build, explore the vibrant community, and hear powerful stories from residents about their journeys and successes. It was an inspiring and eye-opening experience, and we are incredibly proud to be part of such an impactful project that is changing lives and building hope.
